Cabinet Painting — Done Right, Once

If your cabinet boxes are solid and the layout works, painting them is the biggest kitchen upgrade per dollar there is. The catch: cabinet paint only lasts if the prep is right. Kitchen grease, glossy factory finishes and oak grain all need to be handled before paint goes on.

We remove doors and drawer fronts, degrease and scuff-sand everything, apply a bonding primer, and spray a hard-curing cabinet enamel for a smooth finish. Boxes are brushed and rolled in place with your kitchen masked off.

Not when they're prepped right. Peeling almost always comes from skipped degreasing, sanding or primer. We use a bonding primer and a hard-curing cabinet enamel.
Yes. We can leave the grain showing or fill it for a smooth, modern finish — we'll show you both on a sample door.
If the boxes are solid and the layout works, painting gives you most of the visual change for a fraction of the cost. If the layout or boxes are the problem, a remodel is the better investment — we'll tell you honestly.
Mostly, yes. Doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in a set-up area; the boxes are painted in place and the kitchen is usable most evenings.
